Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha National Park
You will be picked from your Arusha hotel and driven to Arusha National Park, with a picnic lunch to be served inside the park. Towering the park and the Arusha town lies Mount Meru dormant stratovolcano at a height of 4,566 metres. Arusha is small but fantastic park with its landscapes divided into three distinct areas. In the west, Meru Crater channels the Jekukumia River, with the peak of Mount Meru nesting on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the southeast is grassland, and the shallow, alkaline Momella Lakes in the northeast have varying algal colours and are known for their wading birds. After full day of fun in the park, our team will setup the camp where you will have a dinner and overnight in the very comfortable tents.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we will head to Tarangire National Park, a drive of about two hours. Once we reach our destination, you will go directly on a game drive. Tarangire is most famous for its large herds of elephant and giraffes. After game drive you will be transferred to public camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Your journey to Serengeti, probably most famous of all national parks in the World, begins after breakfast. You will be served with picnic lunch just before we reach Serengeti, and upon arrival we’ll have short stop at the park gate to take care of the formalities and fees, before we make way into the Serengeti. You will enjoy a half day game drive before transfer to public camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4-5: Serengeti
For two days you will fully enjoy your game drives around this famous park and its endless plains. If you plan your holiday toward the great migration, you will have the chance to see this true wander of nature from the first row. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park, and after we continue with your game drive, before returning to your accommodation for dinner overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti – – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti for a morning game view, with the picnic lunch packed before we departure. This is all to maximize your stay and to enjoy the wildlife as much as possible, since this safari is short. After lunch within the park, we will start the voyage to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and along the way we’ll make the stop at the historical Olduvai Gorge, amazing geological site where some of the first human footprints are discovered, dating over 3.5 million years ago. During this drive, you will be able to enjoy various game, before we reach our destination and your selected accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will enjoy a half day game drive before we take our journey toward Lake Manyara National Park. Once we arrive at the park, you will be served picnic lunch, followed by game drive, where you will be able to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, a variety of birds and many other animal species. Later in the afternoon we’ll drive you to the public campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Lake Manyara – Arusha
After breakfast, you will visit very well known local village called Mto wa Mbu, which over the years has grown into genuine multicultural bonanza, influenced by various ethnic groups. Later in the afternoon you will arrive to Arusha, and your hotel.
