Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Saadan National Park
Depart Dar es Salaam in the morning and drive to Saadani National Park with a packed lunch. You will enjoy the game drive within the park all the way to the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at your selected accommodation.
Day 2: Saadani game drive and boating
With the early morning sunrise you will engage in game viewing, followed by breakfast in your accommodation. Here, the elephants are relatively shy and usually hide during the day in the woodlands. You can seldom spot leopards in dense bushes and trees , as these animals are mainly nocturnal and can be found living in close proximity to humans. Other animals you can see in the park are the greater kudu and smaller antelopes such as suni and duiker. The trees are inhabited by colubus monkeys, adorable bush babies and many fruit eating bird species, insects and butterflies. After the rewarding game drive, you can engage in boating safari at the delta of Wami River and the ocean. Dinner and overnight will be at your selected accommodation.
Day 3: Saadan to Dar es Salaam
One last early morning game viewing followed by breakfast. Later in a day you will have time for an afternoon games drive and transfer back to Dar es Salaam in the evening.
